Depression and Anxiety
Feelings of depression and anxiety are common human experiences. However, when these feelings become frequent, interfere with our lives, and disrupt functioning, rather than being passing states, they become serious issues that need to be addressed. Sometimes symptoms of depression are not obvious and can show up in various ways, like feeling less motivated, tired, or stuck. Anxiety can feel like an inner tightness, racing thoughts and worry, difficulty controlling worry, & constantly feeling the need to be doing something. It is not uncommon for depression and anxiety to go together. I've worked with depression and anxiety extensively, and can help you to gain a deeper understanding of the feelings inside that are serving to create the symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as how to effectively navigate the situations that are creating these feelings. I have been honored to witness my clients learn how to experience themselves more fully; which may include gaining greater insight into their inner world, needs, as well learning emotional regulation skills that they can use in their lives.
